March 9th test session Kearney Mid-Continent Library.
Had 8 people test. 3 new Technicians. 4 new Generals.
One failed the technician test.
Just looking a Larry's list. Been a Tech for many years, and was big into ATV back in the day. Since 10 meters has been active and making several contacts all over the world, thought I better get my General before I run out of gray matter. As a retired 75 year old Electronic Engineer and broadcast engineer, been around RF many years building AM,FM,and TV stations for the military, From fixed ,transportable & airborne. Then got into designing High Power Loudspeaker systems for US Army (PSYOP)
I wanted to add my profile picture; how do I do that without having to use the Gravatar thing? I dont want to create another login on another website, seems silly.
Thank you for your help.

I got my ticket last month at Kearney and came to a meeting at the Smithville Fire Station. At the end of June. I enjoyed the meeting, and was looking for information on when the next one would take place.
I upgraded to an FT-70DR radio, got my vanity call sign, ordered my lisence plate, and want to get involved in the ham community. I read that there is supposed to be an ARES meeting here in Cameron next month according to a January newsletter of the Northwest Missouri ARES club, but can't find contacts or information.
Where would I go to be informed?
Thanks!
I was on your website and i could not find a place to register for a login.
Where can I do that ?
Thank you
Jeff
