Liberty Emergency Radio Club

The Liberty Emergency Radio Club was formed as a public service for the Clay County area. We include the cities of Liberty, Kearney, Gladstone, Claycomo, Pleasant Valley and the North Kansas City area.

Our goal is to provide a platform for members to gain experience using their radios, gain technical expertise, learn how to program radios, receive training on emergency situations and other various applications. We are a varied group of individuals and have much to learn from each other.

Ham Radio is a useful tool within the community and a fun hobby. We want to share it with all that have a Ham Radio license or desire to obtain a license.

Our Mission:

To provide a platform of learning and fun for members in the Clay County area. To better learn applications of the use and betterment of Ham Radios. To bring operators together in friendship.

Our Vision:

To grow a Club with Members that will provide communication service for the Community in the case of a disaster. Also to share Ham Radio knowledge with others who have an interest in the hobby.
